    Matt Quint enters his 2nd season and 1st as a full time pitching coach for the Garden City Broncbusters. During the 2010 season Quint helped produce a pitching staff that posted at 4.00ERA and saw two pitchers (Erik Mattingly/Reese McGraw) move on to the Div. 1 level. 

    In the summer of 2010 Coach Quint headed back to Liberal, KS where he once played for the Liberal BJ’s. As the pitching coach for the BJ’s Quint helped them bring the NBC World Series trophy back to Liberal, KS.

    Quint, a native of Garden City, KS began his career at home for the Broncbusters. He played 2 years for the Busters and helped them with the Jayhawk West Conference Sub Regional title. After Garden City Quint transferred to Emporia State University and in his 1st year the Hornets won 41 games and made the Central Regional. The following year the ESU Hornets won 48 games, the MIAA Conference, the Central Regional, and earned a berth to the Division II World Series. Quint also spent his college summers playing for the Liberal BJ’s and Derby Twins. Was a member of the 2006 Derby Twins team that placed 2nd in the NBC Tournament.
